Use the link below to submit new music for the FBA Solo/Ensemble Music List, or to request to perform a piece that is not on the S/E Music List. Deadline is December 1 for Solo & Ensemble. The Deadline for the Concert list has already passed.
All-State audition results are now available. Please talk to your students individually about the results - do not post the full ensemble lists for all students to see. We want students find out if they were or were not selected from their directors, not through calls, texts or social media. Thank you for your cooperation with this!
November 12-13, 2016 Held on the campus of Stetson University in DeLand, this event will include a banquet and two concerts to honor the Roll of Distinction inductees Clifton Williams (posthumous) and Dr. Kenneth Williams, and Hall of Fame inductees Browne' Greaton Cole (posthumously) and Mark Spreen.
The FSU College of Music, in partnership with the Hobbs family, is pleased to announce the establishment of the Oliver P. and Beryl M. Hobbs Music Education Scholarship Fund, celebrating Mr. Hobbs' legacy as Band Director at FSU's Summer Music Camps and Leon High School.
FMEA is looking for nominations of those well deserving individuals who have contributed to the quality of music education in the state of Florida. All nominations except Music Enrollment and Music Education Service are due September 5, 2016.
