Space is limited, don't miss out on this opportunity! This intensive learning experience will provide participants with tools and ideas to help their students reach new levels of success. Participants will need to bring an instrument; sessions will be hands-on with a focus on "learning by doing." We will emphasize collaboration, so please bring a friend. There are several bands at Encore, so we need to assess your child’s level in order to place them into the appropriate band. It takes our experienced staff very little time to appropriately place your child. Encore is an overnight band camp for students in grades 5-8 and Encore High is for students in grades 9-11. Both camps are housed at Gordon State University. Around 200 – 250 students attend Encore Band camp, and they are divided into four bands (students are grouped by ability level). Our staff includes some of the most respected and experienced band directors in the state of Georgia as well as some outstanding future music educators. | ||||||
